Less than 5 miles from Caesars Palace, McCarran International Airport (LAS) is easily the most accessible airport in the area. With four runways and 900 convenient flights each day between Las Vegas and cities around the globe, you’re assured easy access at reasonable airfares.

Airport Transfers

To get from McCarran Airport to Caesars, you can rent a car, catch a shuttle, taxi or rideshare or make the moment even more memorable by arranging for upscale limousine or town car service.

The McCarran Rental Car Center is located opposite the remote parking lot on Gillespie Road. Shuttle buses depart every five minutes at Exit door 10 or 11. For information call 702-261-6001.

Taxicabs are available on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1-4. Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers

Shuttles and limousines/town cars are located on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 7-13. Note that there are both group shuttles and ‘for-hire’ stretch limos.

Ground Transportation

With so many fantastic venues on the 4-mile long resort corridor (otherwise known as the Las Vegas Strip), walking is a viable option for many. Walking allows you to see all the sights, get in some low-key exercise and avoid ground transportation lines. That’s a win-win-win if there ever was one! Click here for a detailed walking map.

Taxi service is available at all Las Vegas Strip hotels, including Caesars. A uniformed attendant will assist you curbside. It is nearly impossible to determine exactly how much a taxi ride will be. Taximeter totals will vary widely depending on time of day, day of week, route taken and destination. However, we can certainly tell you how the meter in each cab works and how these charges accumulate.

First 1/12th mile$3.30
Subsequent per mile fee$2.40
Surcharge for airport drop-off or pickup$1.80
Waiting time per every 24 seconds when cab is moving less than 8-12mph$.20
Fuel surcharge included in mileage rate$.20

When you get into a taxicab, the driver will start the taximeter and an initial charge of $3.30 will register. This charge is referred to as the “drop.” If a taxi ride originates at any McCarran Airport property, an additional airport surcharge of $1.80 per trip is added to the taximeter.

Passengers now have another option for getting to and from the airport. Lyft and Uber are currently authorized to provide ride-sharing services at the airport. Simply arrange for a ride using the app on your smart phone or mobile device.

Customers may be dropped off at the airport’s departures curbs at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Designated Rideshare passenger pick up locations are listed below.

The Rideshare pick up is located on level 2M of the parking garage.
From Baggage Claim, take the elevator near door #2 up to level 2.
Cross the pedestrian bridge on level 2 to the Terminal 1 Parking Garage.
The Rideshare pick up is located on the Valet level of the Terminal 3 parking garage.
From Baggage Claim, take the elevator near door #52, #54 or #56 up to level 1.
Cross the pedestrian bridge on level 1 to the Terminal 3 Parking Garage.
