Laura Obagi serves as Vice President of Global Marketing & Communications for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, where she plays a central role in shaping the brand’s positioning and national marketing and communications strategy. She oversees integrated marketing campaigns, guides social media and content strategy, and leads specialized programs and initiatives that support the company’s growth. She also spearheads the Luxury Collection and Sports + Entertainment divisions, ensuring strategic alignment with the broader brand.
Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Laura served as Chief Communications Officer for The Agency, a global real estate brokerage, where she led brand strategy, media relations, and marketing communications during a period of rapid expansion. Earlier in her career, she held executive leadership roles at prominent marketing and public relations firms in Los Angeles and Miami.
Over the course of her career, Laura has created and executed marketing and public relations campaigns for more than 50 new development projects throughout the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. She has worked closely with developers, brokers, and executive teams to position complex projects in competitive markets.
Laura began her professional journey as a journalist and later worked as a news editor, experiences that continue to shape her strategic, storytelling-driven approach to communications. She holds a master’s degree in communications from Griffith University in Australia and a bachelor’s degree in print journalism, with a minor in political science, from California State University, Northridge.
