Exploring Nashville’s live music hub of Lower Broadway is like scanning the radio dial—except every station’s a hit. With honky tonks hosting live music from 10am to 3am, you can wander until you find something that guarantees a grand ole time. And it’s not just country music, oh no. From bluegrass to jazz and pop to hard rock, Nashville truly has something for every kind of music lover.

Not a huge music fan? No worries! You’ll still find plenty of fun and fascinating activities during your downtime at Sales Convention 2026. Here’s a rundown of some visitor favorites—musical and otherwise—plus a few hidden gems:

  1. Grand Ole Opry

A cultural institution, the historic country music radio show is broadcast live from the Grand Ole Opry House to the east of the city. Check out the schedule to see a live show or schedule a daytime tour to walk in the footsteps of country music’s biggest names.

  1. Gaylord Opryland Garden Conservatory

Found within the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, this indoor paradise features lush garden walks, striking waterfalls, and a riverboat journey.

  1. Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage

This historic home and museum provides a window into the life of the 7th President, with guided tours of original furnishings and an insightful look at plantation history.

  1. The Johnny Cash Museum

With the world’s largest collection of Johnny Cash memorabilia and artifacts, this is a must-visit for all fans of the Man in Black. Under a mile from the Music City Center—the location for Sales Convention 2026.

  1. Ole Smoky Distillery “6th & Peabody”

Just one block from the Music City Center, this is a favorite for locals and visitors alike, featuring both a moonshine distillery and beer brewery onsite with guided tours plus moonshine and whiskey tastings and more.

  1. Centennial Park

West of downtown, this park is a great spot to relax, with a lake for paddle boating and a full-scale replica of the Athenian Parthenon which is home to various art galleries.

  1. Third Man Records

Launched by White Stripes frontman Jack White, this Nashville location is home to a record store, bar, and 1947 Voice-o-Graph Recording Booth—the latter of which you can use to record yourself directly to vinyl, although it’s best to check ahead that it’s currently functioning!
