As a native to the Central Illinois area, Garrett grew up in Peoria, Illinois and serves the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal, Illinois markets. Garrett is a third generation REALTOR®, having both his step-mother and two grandmothers as inspiration for his real estate career.
Since joining the real estate industry in February of 2021, Garrett has served on several committees at his local association, YPN committee, RPAC committee, and helped in establishing the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee as Chair of the committee and was later elected as a board of director for his local association in 2023. Through his time chairing for the DEI committee, it established its first annual Fair Housing event, partnering with local community organizations that provide grant programs, housing assistance, legal services for fair housing related issues, and so much more information on housing related topics for his local community.
In addition to being a Sterling R Major Investor in RPAC, Garrett received the MIRA Rising Star Award in 2022 which honors agents for their involvement in their local association early on in their career, the New Agent of the Year award from his Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Central Illinois office in 2022, and the Honor Society Award for Top 16% in the network in 2022, and was recognized as one of RISMedia’s Top 25 Finalists for Rookie of the Year, placing in the Top 5 for the midwest region.
