Charles “Scott” Emerson of The John Williams Group at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties has been a long-time advocate for the LGTQ+ community. He serves as the President of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance Las Vegas chapter, is a member of the Lambda Chamber of Commerce and National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Nevada Chapter. He is a former Vice President and Board Member for Golden Rainbow; a charity providing housing and support services for those who are HIV positive. He has been referred to as the local Paul Revere for diversity and inclusion. He is the recipient of the 2021 Las Vegas Realtor’s Good Neighbor Award for his community service and currently serves on the association’s Community Outreach Committee. He is a Gubernatorial Appointed Commissioner for Nevada Volunteers, the Governor’s commission on volunteer service. Scott teaches diversity courses and presents on diversity / business topics. Scott holds the ‘At Home with Diversity’ designation, ‘VA Loan’ certification, and is a full-time Realtor alongside his life partner, John Williams
